Financing The Program:The
Higher Education Act permits schools to release federal aid for payment towards a study abroad program
if the student is receiving credit from their home university. This aid is
not predicated on the foreign school or
domestic organization (i.e. AmeriSpan)
being a Title IV institution. For
complete information, click here: www.amerispan.com/financial_aid
Scholarships:There are a
many scholarships available for study abroad programs
including some offered by AmeriSpan.

Academic CreditMany
AmeriSpan participants have received
credit for a wide variety of our study
abroad programs including: Academic
Study Abroad, Language Immersion,
Volunteer/Internship, Teenager, SALUD
(Medical), MAESTRO (Teachers) and
COMERCIO (Business) programs. If
your institution requires any additional
information in order to pre-approve
credit for study at an AmeriSpan
program, we will be happy to provide
it. In general, we can provide a
course syllabus, transcript, and list
some other colleges/universities that
have granted credit for study at the
same foreign institution. For more
