Buenos Aires is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and offers an endless variety of things to do. However, among the high rises, chic shops and fabulous cultural offerings, there is a large portion of the about 13 million inhabitants that struggle daily to survive. You can do your bit by helping in health clinics, in various daycare and after-school projects for at-risk youth, or at a re-integration project for ex-prisoners. Professional and Business Internships can be organized in almost every imaginable field.
You could also volunteer or intern in and around Cordoba, a university city of 1.5 million with an active nightlife and many colonial buildings. It's a good place to get to know Argentine life. Here you can work with toddlers, at-risk children, adolescents, women, the unemployed and the elderly. Those with a healthcare background can help out in clinics and hospitals.
